頂
summit · peak · crown · to receive humbly
頂 is the top — of a mountain (山頂), of a head (頭頂部), of an achievement. The same kanji also reads いただく, the humble verb for "receive" — what you say in いただきます before a meal: hands raised to the head, the highest place. The mini-game above puts a mountain on the screen and asks you to climb it: drag upward, the mountaineer ascends. Reach the summit and the kanji is yours.
Common compounds: 山頂 (sanchō, mountain summit), 頂上 (chōjō, the very top), 頂戴 (chōdai, "please give me").
